Sadly, lack of funding forces us to cancel the 2024 edition of Ancient River Festival. But we will be working hard to source funding for 2025 and look forward to bringing back Ancient River bigger and better than ever before.

Atlantic Canadian songwriters of all genres.
Robbie Smith's music and songs touched so many musicians and fans throughout the world and since Shelburne is where Robbie called home, we believe that it's the best place to honour the commitment to craft that guided his life. This annual FREE festival is dedicated to Atlantic Canadian songwriters with an emphasis on South Shore musicians.
